Musicmakers Austin was started in November 1988 by David Baldry and Allen Kirsh, with over 25 combined years of experience working in a music store. Musicmakers has been at the same location at 517 South Lamar since the beginning in 1988.
With offering many products, repair and service that the national chain stores don’t offer, Musicmakers Austin maintains what austin customers want and expect to make their venture out to music stores a more personal experience.
